I am picking this up today, wondering if there's any feedback, looks like a good meter for pm's quick SH AND SC I have the fluke temp clamp that goes up to 2 1/2 inch pipe od, I think it is model 80pk-10 or whatever was 280$$ ouch, also have the fluke amp clamp, it has a wire so I don't have to place whole tool inside machine can clamp, and hang outside unit to get readings, its can test flame rods, i'm assuming flame sensors etc? It even works in total darkness because ambient light level does not matter. A special camera can detect this radiation in a way similar to the way an ordinary camera detects visible light. Generally speaking, the higher an object's temperature, the more infrared radiation is emitted as black-body radiation. All objects emit a certain amount of black body radiation as a function of their temperature. These are all related and differentiated in the length of their wave (wavelength). Infrared energy is just one part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which encompasses radiation from gamma rays, x-rays, ultraviolet, a thin region of visible light, infrared, terahertz waves, microwaves, and radio waves. The complexity of the system to move electric energy from the point of production to the point of consumption combined with variations in weather, generation, demand and other factors provide many opportunities for the quality of supply to be compromised.įluke Thermal Imager Repair A thermal image showing temperature variation in a hot air balloon. The electricity then moves through the wiring system of the end-user until it reaches the load. The electric power industry comprises electricity generation (AC power), electric power transmission, and ultimately electric power distribution to an electricity meter located at the premises of the end-user of the electric power. There are many ways in which electric power can be of poor quality and many more causes of such poor quality power. Without the proper power, an electrical device (or load) may malfunction, fail prematurely or not operate at all. The term is used to describe electric power that drives an electrical load and the load's ability to function properly.
In general, it is useful to consider power quality as the compatibility between what comes out of an electric outlet and the load that is plugged into it. frequency close to the rated value, and smooth voltage curve waveform (resembles a sine wave). Good power quality can be defined as a steady supply voltage that stays within the prescribed range, steady a.c. Electric power quality is the degree to which the voltage, frequency, and waveform of a power supply system conform to established specifications.
